FOUR INGREDIENT VEGAN BARS


Well, since I am sick today, I cooked up some snacks. I made vegan snacks tonight.

First, we have the 2 ingredient vegan cake. Use whatever vegan mix you like with some pumpkin and viola – Here is an example.

Next, I made up a four ingredient vegan snack which you may want to try!

FOUR INGREDIENT VEGAN BARS:

PREP TIME: 5 mins

COOK TIME: 15 – 20 mins @ 350°F

INGREDIENTS: Instant oatmeal packets x4, Half a can of Pumpkin, Sugar 1/4 cup, Dried fruit

DIRECTIONS:

1. Set the oven to 350°F.

2. Put the pumpkin, sugar, oatmeal, and dried fruit in a bowl. You can use sugar to taste. This is the part where you may choose to add other flavors like cinnamon or vanilla. You can use any flavor of instant oatmeal you like (this is the part where you can keep it vegan or not). Use as much dried fruit as you want! Then mix that mother-f*er!

3. Grease a cookie sheet (I’m not sure if it would stick). Shape some bars/moons/cookies/art.

4. Stick it in the oven.

5. Wait.

6. Take them out when they are as firm as you want them to be (I used the toothpick test).

7. Decide to wait a short time or burn your mouth.

8. Eat.

 

Version 2 – Healthier Version

 

PREP TIME: 30-45 mins

COOK TIME: 15 – 20 mins @ 350°F

INGREDIENTS: Milled oats 1/2 Cup,1 Cup water, 1 Cup Cooked Pumpkin Puree, Sweetener , Dried fruit

PREP:

1. Use a normal prep for cooking a pumpkin puree.

2. Set oats to soak in water for 30 mins.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Set the oven to 350°F.

2. Put the pumpkin, sweetener, oats, and dried fruit in a bowl. You can use sweeten to taste. This is the part where you may choose to add other flavors like cinnamon or vanilla. Use as much dried fruit as you want! Then mix.

The best part about this recipe is it is 100% versatile. You can make it with your favorite dried fruit and vary the calorie density. You can use artificial sweetener or honey. You can add chocolate or nuts. I can be made super healthy, vegan, or vegetarian.
